PHYSIOTHERAPY
Physiotherapy in Tel Aviv
Detailed assessment. Individual treatment. A clear path back to function.
Physiotherapy is about understanding the origin of a problem and finding a clear way to resolve it. We focus on a thorough diagnosis followed by treatment that is designed for your specific situation and lifestyle.
Appointments are 60 minutes, one-to-one, providing the time needed for a detailed assessment of your movement and symptoms. Whether you are dealing with recent pain or a long-standing issue, our aim is to return you to full function.
What do we assess?
We start by listening to your history. How did the pain start? What makes it better or worse? We then examine your movement, strength, and neurological function. We look at the area that hurts, but also at the rest of the body to see how everything is working together.
- Runner: Assessing hip stability and foot mechanics during the gait cycle.
- Dancer: Evaluating turnout range and control at the ankle and knee.
- Back pain: Testing spinal mobility and how the nervous system responds to load.
- Nerve symptoms: Checking reflexes, sensation, and nerve conduction paths.
Finding what matters
The assessment is not just a list of tests. It is a process of clinical reasoning to identify the specific factors that are relevant to your recovery. We don't just treat the 'what', we look for the 'why'.

What can physiotherapy treatment include?
Treatment is always adapted to the person. It might include manual techniques to improve joint movement, soft tissue work, or Dry Needling to address muscular tension. However, the most effective part of treatment is often a specific exercise program designed to build strength and resilience in the affected area.
- Joint mobilization and manipulation
- Soft tissue techniques
- Dry Needling for myofascial points
- Anatomic assessment and correction
- Specific rehabilitation exercises
Manual treatment and rehabilitation
Manual therapy is an excellent tool for reducing pain and improving movement in the short term. It opens a 'window of opportunity' where movement is easier and less painful. We use this window to implement rehabilitation exercises that create long-term structural change.
- Reducing local tissue sensitivity
- Improving joint range of motion
- Guiding movement patterns
- Empowering self-management
Exercise and pain
Exercise is often painful when you are injured. This doesn't always mean you are doing damage. We guide you through the process of choosing the right level of activity. What matters is how the symptoms behave. We help you understand when to push and when to adapt your movement.
When the painful area is not the whole problem
Pain in the knee might be caused by how the hip or ankle is working. Neck pain might be exacerbated by ribcage stiffness. We look for these connections during your assessment.
However, we do not assume there is always a 'hidden' cause. Most local problems are just that—local. We only expand the examination when there is a clinical reason to do so, keeping the treatment focused and efficient.
Physiotherapy and osteopathy
Do I need to choose between them?
No. You do not need to decide before your appointment. Evgeny is trained in both disciplines. We use the most effective methods from each to get you better. The assessment will determine which approach—or combination of both—will best serve your recovery. Learn more about Osteopathy
Physiotherapy for persistent and recurring problems
What is preventing recovery?
When pain has been present for months or years, the strategy changes. We look beyond the tissue and examine movement habits, nerve sensitivity, and lifestyle factors. Our goal is to break the cycle of recurrence. Complex & Persistent Musculoskeletal Problems
Sports, dance and activity-related rehabilitation
Rehabilitation for active people requires understanding the specific demands of their discipline. A runner, a weightlifter, and a ballerina all require different focus.
Conditions commonly treated with physiotherapy
We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Each condition has its own dedicated page with more specific information.
Your first physiotherapy appointment
Your first appointment lasts 60 minutes. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely. During this session, we will conduct a full physical examination and begin your treatment plan.
